About Us

This blog came out of from my experiences as a mom with 5 very busy kids.  For over 24 years our household had always been a hub for people coming and going for a variety of reasons . Our house has been a place where all the kids brought their friends, and often meals became all about feeding the local army. 

I grew up in a home where my mother made everything from scratch, as did my grandmothers before her. Buying boxed meals has never appealed to me at all. So... I learned how to read, follow and most important, how to change a recipe.

After years of practice and teaching my friends how to make it all look easy, I decided it was time to share my experiences and create a community of real life cooks; all while being mothers, fathers, employees, chauffeurs, coaches, doctors, teachers and everyone who juggles multiple responsibilities in their own lives.

As a visitor here, I am hoping you become a part of our fantastic group of real life cooks.  Share your successes with us and your failures (which we all have)! 

As I work to develop recipes, tips and tricks that you can use to make life just a little bit easier, I will be posting them here, or on my social media, for you to see the final product.  To assist your busy schedule, you can also sit back and place an order, so that we can do the baking/cooking or you.   Whether you want a hands on approach, or a chance to enjoy home cooked specialties without all the fuss, we're here to help!

Join us for online classes, lets take some time to learn together while we're at home.  We have to make dinner anyways right?  Why not do it with us on your computer at the same time?
